After attending Falls Creek as a junior in High School, a large number of the youth gave their testimony on a Sunday evening of what God had done in their lives while at camp. It was then that I realized that I did not have a personal relationship with Christ like my friends had. I received Christ as my Savior that night.
My wife and I have been married for 43 years. We have one adult daughter and two grandsons. I retired in 2018 from Farmers National Company where I served on the board of directors and as Senior Vice President of the oil and gas mineral management division for 18 years.
David has been a member of FBCBA for 18 years. In another Southern Baptist church, he served in the following roles: deacon chairman, chairman of the church elders, chairman of the pastor search committee, and chairman of multiple music minister search committees. David currently team teaches an adult SS class, serves as a deacon, and sings in the church choir.
